About

I’ve noticed that when most people start their introductions they offer their names. In my life I’ve found my name to never quite fit with who I am, and so I’ve had different names for myself for quite some time. My birth name is Hannah, but I prefer to go by Addison or Addy. Feel free to use any of those!

A little about myself- I am a 22 year old living in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I formerly studied library sciences, small animal massage, and now I am majoring in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. Throughout my life I have had a great interest in anthropology, history, and animals. I consider myself a pre-transitioning female to male transgender. I plan on eventually undergoing hormone therapy and chest surgery. My body is physically female, but I try not to dwell on that. I have been happily married to my husband since September of 2011.

As far as religion and spirituality I just recently finished the beginners class in Kemetic Orthodoxy and joined the House of Netjer as a remetj. Originally I was brought to the Lutheran church when I was seven, and then left when I turned 15. After leaving the Lutheran church I began to explore other religions in search of something that resounded with me. It has taken many years but I believe I have finally found that with Kemetic Orthodoxy. Currently I do not focus my worship on any particular Names in an effort to keep my mind open. However, I certainly feel I have had interactions with specific names.

This blog will be about my journey.
